Created for LU Student Activities
The annual Christmas in Lights event is a celebration of the holidays when all the trees around LU's campus are lit up at the same time. Student's enjoy live music, beverages, and a speech from the school's president.
The foliage was hand drawn and then transferred into Illustrator where I placed the gold foil texture as well as the text. The foliage creates a light out of its negative space. There is a slight texture on the red background as well. This poster went through a few color changes to end up on this final version. I wanted the poster to be classy, but still holiday themed.
