Created for Brainly
On web and on app, Brainly is a multi-product educational platform that helps over 350 million students with homework questions in 35 countries. Students put up homework questions, in any subject, and other students will collaborate and gain points by answering questions. Brainly has around 400 employees.

Brainly is based out of Poland, and I work for the US marketing team as the lead Digital Advertising & Marketing Designer. All designs are created in accordance with Brainly's style guide named PENCIL.
CHROME EXTENSION
Brainly's Google Chrome Extension allows users to get solutions from our product tied into Google search, and by right-clicking on any highlighted text. I created the animation below to explain and show what the extension is capable of.
NEW STUDENT VIDEO
I was tasked with updating one of Brainly's most visible and impactful videos from 2020, What bothers Brainly students?

For the updated video I animated below, we used real students who regularly use Brainly for their schoolwork. The first portion of the animation includes a user profile of each student's real account on Brainly. Then following that I animated examples of our main products including Scan to Solve, Simplify + Expand, and AI Tutor.
APP STORE IMAGES
I previously designed the app store images in 2022 for Brainly's rebranding, but in 2023 I was tasked with updating the app store listing to deliver a fresh and exciting set of images that included the use of our new AI tools. By A/B testing multiple iterations on design and copy, I came up with the final version below, which is currently live on the app store.
US SOCIAL MEDIA
Alongside Brainly's Outreach Manager, I run the design and help with the direction of all of the US Social Media, and have been helping our social's grow 10% quarter over quarter (around 1000 new users every quarter). To boost engagement we frequently run giveaways connecting our app to our socials. I also contribute to Brainly's international markets such as Brazil, India, and Poland.

Because we are trying to reach students, we typically find the use of memes to be extremely beneficial on Instagram and TikTok.
EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR
Once a year at Brainly, we run the Educator of the Year campaign where teachers have the chance to win prizes and money for classroom supplies. On top of assisting with web development, we created the entire marketing campaign below which includes social, in-app messages, on-site ads, and the Educator of the Year award mailed to winners.
EMAIL & IN-APP CAMPAIGNS
Using Blueshift and Mailchimp, I created around 100 emails sent out to our userbase, as well as around 30 in-app messages through Blueshift.
WEB DEVELOPMENT
The three separate projects below highlight some of my work using Figma and Sketch in collaboration with developers. The first webpage below is a web2app landing page marketing the launch of our new AI-powered tool Ginny. Check it out here.
Both webpages below were created in collaboration with our sales team. On the left side, we created a "special offers" page, a way for advertisers to offer exclusive deals to Brainly users.
The webpage on the right was created as a sort of "homepage" to send prospective advertisers. For each type of ad, we included a live demo and a PDF explaining each type of ad and ad specs.
BRAINLY INSIGHTS
Brainly Insights is a blog hosted on site that we use to build our SEO ranking, as well as talk about general educational content related to Brainly. I frequently contribute cover photos, graphs, and infographics. One of my favorite projects created for the blog is below, an infographic going over milestones and stats on Brainly over the course of 2019.
OTHER
My other responsibilities have included managing freelancers for external video projects; managing freelancers creating content for our TikTok; working with vendors to run ads Brainly; creating decks and one sheets for investor meetings; and creating in-app messages and landing pages.
